The wonderful strains of Ewan Pearson come floating into R$N towers this week with an Adriatica mix for the Electric Elephant festival.
Ewan Pearson has been making records since 1995. He has recorded as Maas for Soma, releasing six singles and an album, ʻLatitudeʼ, and under a number of other guises including World of Apples and, currently, Partial Arts for Cologne’s legendary Kompakt label. He's remixed the likes of Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Seelenluft, Cortney Tidwell, Foals and Junior Boys His production credits include Delphic’s ‘Acolyte’, Tracey Thorn’s solo albums ‘Out Of The Woods’ and ‘Love And Its Opposite’, The Rapture’s ‘Pieces of the People We Love’ and M83’s ‘Saturdays=Youth’.
A published academic and lecturer at the tender age of 27 (‘Discographies: dance music, culture and the politics of sound’ Ewan brings an academic Adriatic gem for the wonderful Electric Elephant 2012.
