A LOVE FROM OUTER SPACE
Held in East London’s intimate basement venue The Drop, the night has quietly been building a reputation as London’s best mid-week club night. Ever ahead of the curve, Andrew and Sean set up the night to showcase a slower musical selection than their weekend club bookings would allow. The soundtrack ranges from their own music produced with ALFOS in mind, ambient, dub, krautrock, disco not disco, proto house and anything else that fits their manifesto to “never knowingly exceed 122bpm”.
ALFOS attracts a mixed and enthusiastic crowd of Heads, the Hip of Hackney, Dalston Fashonistas, Shoreditch refugees, Big Gay Bears, off duty DJ’s and the occasional rock star.
Due to them being so generous over at ALFOS we've now got another copy of the pair of mix CDs given away at last month’s 1st Birthday here to give away again.
