"The Primitive Painter" was first released via Klang Elektronik and remains a prominent record in the context of IDM and contemporary electronic music.

The label announced the return of a highly sought after record which has been in significant demand since it was first released in 1994. "The Primitive Painter" was first released via Klang Elektronik and remains a prominent record in the context of IDM and contemporary electronic music. The self titled album features eleven tracks and will be made available on vinyl once again having fetched high prices on the second hand market, in shops and online. 

The album was somewhat of a side project released by the pair in the early 90's, a separate outlet for material removed from that of their work under the guise of Alter Ego and Acid Jesus. Cult status surrounding the release has grown ever since.
