Saturday night had rolled into Sunday morning and the soft light of the day had begun to appear. The streets were secluded and quiet, but now and then a figure would come down the path, kicking up the rubbish that littered the floor in front of them. Like clockwork, every few minutes another figure would appear in the distance, fresh from a night of debauchery and frivolty... They were ready to stagger into the week ahead.
They may be a young label but Holding Hands have already proved they can run with the big dogs. Since launching in 2017, label head and DJ/producer Desert Sound Colony has notched up eight fresh releases, as well as two on his new offshoot Holding Hands Again, which unearths early slept-on tech house gems. For the next on his parent label he welcomes back Adam Pits — the Leeds-based producer who debuted on the imprint in 2018. He's back with the goods once again on his 'Stagga' EP; two original slammers and a remix from Casa Voyager boss OCB that's basically got it all...
