チムサーチョイにある王子飯店は会社のVIP御用達。今日はNちゃん親子と王子飯店で飲茶ブランチ。Nちゃんによると王子の名物らしいカスタード饅頭も オーダーする。Lがあまり好きではないので、私にとっては念願の饅頭日和。二つに割ると不自然なまでに黄色いカスタードがじゅわぁって溢れ出てきた。半熟 ゆで卵みたい。まったり濃厚でちょっとお酒がきいているような深ぁい味わい。イタリアのクリーム、ザバイオーネに通じるものもあり。Nちゃん、香港にまた 来てな〜。ディープでB級グルメ付き香港もっと極めとくから。
My Japanese boss always takes VIPs who come to Hong Kong to the Prince restaurant in TST. Today, we had dim-sum brunch there with my friend N and N’s mum. One of the local dishes in the restaurant is a custard bun. Since L does not like it, I did not have a chance to order it before so that I was happy to try it for the first time. The custard flows over when it is split in two. It looked like a soft-boiled egg, it was very rich with a hint of alcohol and a bit similar taste to Zabaglione.
